International Cat Day is today, August 8! So in celebration, here’s a list of 12 K-Pop idols and their beloved cats.
1. Pudding, Cupcake, Latte & King – BamBam (GOT7)
BamBam is a huge cat lover, as you can see from the fact that he has four of them! He once said that he speaks to his cats in Korean so that they’re able to understand when other people, like veterinarians, talk to them!
2. Nora, Koonta, Odd, Berry & Cake – Jay B (GOT7)
Jay B might have more cats than any other idol! He has five beautiful cat companions, and spends a big chunk of his day cleaning up after them to make sure they live comfortably.

3. Soonie, Doongie & Dori – Lee Know (STRAY KIDS)
Lee Know has three cats! Two of them, Soonie and Doongie, were adopted while the youngest Dori was a rescue.
4. Hobak – Taehyun (TXT)
Hobak is loved well by Taehyun and MOAs! Taehyun has had Hobak since he was a little kid, and people even think the owner and pet look alike—including Beomgyu!

5. Seol, Nal & Bongsik – Jeno (NCT)
Jeno has three cats! Jeno and Bongsik have been together since Jeno’s pre-debut days, and he adopted Seol and Nal soon after. Unfortunately, Jeno is allergic to cats and spending time away from them has only made his tolerance weaken. Nevertheless, he loves his cats to pieces.

6. Lulu & Lala – Seulgi (Red Velvet)
Seulgi’s cats Lulu and Lala made their debut in 2019! They even inspire her artwork, like this adorable drawing she posted soon after adopting the two.
7. Romang – Hun (N.Flying)
Hun and his cat Romang are a best friend duo like no other! Fans think the two look so much alike, and honestly, the similarities are too precious.

8. Byulie & Dallie – Ryujin (ITZY)
Ryujin has two cats named Byulie and Dallie! She named them herself. In Korean, byul means star and dal means moon, so these two are a perfect match.
9. Byeol – San (ATEEZ)
San also has a cat named after stars! He loves sharing photos of Byeol, and even posted a photo today — maybe they’re celebrating International Cat Day as well!
10. Ggomo – Wheein (MAMAMOO)
Wheein loves her cat Ggomo more than anything! She even referred to him as her boyfriend before. Wheein named Ggomo after her favorite yogurt brand as a child, Como.
11. Louis & Leon – WayV
Louis and Leon are iconic members of the WayV household! They live in the dorms with all the members and are as loved by fans as the members themselves. WayV even dropped a family photo merch line featuring the two cats and their dog Bella!
12. Kkoong – Taemin
Taemin adopted Kkoong this past February and their relationship is so cute. She’s a fan-favorite among all the SHINee pets, and understandably so—she’s adorable!
