Mark is on track to be the first GOT7 member to release new music after the group’s departure from JYP Entertainment, assuming another member doesn’t release something before him.
Mark announced on his YouTube channel the premiere of his first YouTube video on January 21, 3pm KST. With that announcement, he also revealed he will be releasing his single “One in a Million” with Sanjoy, an American musician and EDM producer who primarily focuses on the EDM genre.
The song will be available for fans to listen to on February 12, but fans can pre-save the song now, so they’ll be notified immediately when it’s out.
He also just celebrated hitting the 1 million subscriber mark on YouTube, without even posting a single video. He promised he would be releasing videos soon though.
According to reports following the news of GOT7’s departure from JYP Entertainment, Mark will be returning to the United States to focus on his solo music and run his own YouTube channel.
