K-Dramas often make viewers swoon with their heart-fluttering romances.
Many K-Dramas even gain more attention for the actors’ chemistry while filming or sometimes in the behind-the-scenes content.
For instance, the K-Drama couple in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon remains a fan favorite as both leading actors, Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik, later confessed that they fell for each other at different times. And fans are currently highly anticipating the return of their character’s relationship in the extension K-Drama, Strong Woman Gang Nam Soon.

After playing the part of a couple in the K-Drama, the two would go on to date and then later marry in 2017.
3. Cha Ye Ryun and Joo Sang Wook
Cha Ye Ryun and Joo Sang Wook starred together in the K-Drama Glamorous Temptation.
After playing onscreen lovers, the two started dating and married in 2017. They continue to show their love for each other on their social media.
4. Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young
Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young met in the 2004 K-Drama Save the Last Dance for Me. Unlike many of the couples on this list, these two actors weren’t the main couple in the drama. Instead, their characters were engaged but in a love triangle with the main female character, played by Eugene.
Still, after filming the drama, the two developed a relationship and married in 2013. Bo Young has recently opened up about how they still support each other in their careers.
5. Eugene and Ki Tae Young
Eugene and Ki Tae Young met on the set of the 2009 K-Drama Creating Destiny. Eugene has even opened up about their love story “starting” after the entire cast of the drama went to a Korean bathhouse.
The two later got married in 2011.
6. Jeon Hye Jin and Lee Chun Hee
Jeon Hye Ji and Lee Chun Hee met while filming the K-Drama Smile, You in 2009. The two entered into a relationship shortly after filming the drama.
Despite their nine-year age gap, which caused Chun Hee’s friends to voice their concerns for Hye Jin, they married in 2011. They have since shown off their loving relationship, putting any concerns to rest.
7. Han Ga In and Yeon Jung Hoon
Han Ga In and Yeon Jung Hoon‘s chemistry in the 2003 K-Drama Yellow Handkerchief was obvious, so fans weren’t surprised when the two started dating after filming the drama.
The two would eventually get married in 2005. Although, more recently, Ga In has admitted that she would want “to stay single in her next life.”
8. Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin
Perhaps one of the most iconic fairytale romances is between Crash Landing on You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
After portraying star-crossed lovers in the K-Drama, the two fell in love, having married in 2022, helping fans everywhere believe in true love.
9. Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki
Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki made waves with their stellar performance in Descendants of the Sun.
Eventually, the two publicly announced their plans to get married, and Song Hye Kyo even opened up about their loving relationship. Unfortunately, shortly after getting married, the two got divorced, although both have continued to have incredibly successful careers.

YG Entertainment confirmed Dispatch‘s 2017 reveal that the couple was dating, but, unfortunately, they would later break up that same year.
11. Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun
Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun met on the set of the 2015 K-Drama Blood.
The two got married just two months after announcing their relationship to the public. However, unfortunately, their divorce in 2019 was highly publicized, with conflicting statements from both actors.
12. Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon
The Glory stars Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon‘s agencies confirmed that the actors are dating on April 1, 2023. Unlike the other couples on this list, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon’s The Glory characters weren’t in a romantic relationship. But given the cast’s well-known friendship, it isn’t surprising that their friendship turned into something more.
