In a recent interview with The Project, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé revealed how the members reacted to her solo music (“On The Ground” and “Gone”).
Rosé made her highly anticipated solo debut in 2021, and she was shown lots of love from BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s fandom). However, it wasn’t just BLINKs who loved Rosé’s solo music, as her fellow members did as well! Rosé spoke about how supportive Jisoo was.
I remember Jisoo; she was like, ‘Oh my god, are you going to go with that song? That’s my favorite song! I’m so excited for it to come out!’ She was so sure about it. It means a lot when one of your members is very sure about something. It’s not like, ‘Ah, it’s a good song. I like it.’ It’s more like, ‘I’m really sure about it. You should come out with this ASAP.’ She was very supportive

Not only was Jisoo excited about Rosé’s solo debut, but the other members were as well!
All the other members were like, ‘Are you coming out with that song?!’ It’s funny how it’s always like, you know that there is ‘That Song,’ they don’t even have to name it… I think everybody was sure about it for me. They were very excited.
